LASER-CUT PLANS

For this project, I designed a board game inspired by Ecuador’s volcanoes. I created detailed laser-cut plans for all the game components, including the board, tokens, and markers. These pieces were precisely cut out of MDF wood using laser cutting technology.

GAME PACKAGING

For this project, I created two versions of the board game, one themed around the Cotopaxi volcano and the other around Chimborazo. Each game was designed with its own individual packaging, tailored to reflect the unique identity of each volcano. Additionally, I developed a combined packaging solution capable of holding both games together in a single, cohesive presentation, making it ideal for display or transport as a set.

RETOS VOLCÁNICOS

In this project, the goal was to create a board game with a theme related to Ecuador. A game was made that revolves around Ecuador’s volcanoes, in this case, Chimborazo and Pichincha. The objective of the game is to advance through the different levels of the volcano until reaching the summit and capturing the flag.

GAME RULES

Players compete to reach the top of the volcano. They roll a die to move up levels. Rolling a 1, 2, or 4 allows a player to move up. Rolling a 3 or 5 means the player moves down one level (or stays if it's the starting level). Rolling a 6 results in a time penalty, skipping one turn. The first player to reach the top level (Level 4) places their flag and wins the game.
